Next Dashboard is managed through Next Plugin, which provides a central interface for configuring dashboards, screens, widgets, display settings, account information, and installed components. The interface is divided into three main areas: the dashboard selector, the dashboard navigation area, and the plugin settings.

Navigation

The navigation bar at the top of the interface lets you switch between Dashboard 1 and Dashboard 2. Each dashboard has its own screens, layouts, widgets, and display configuration. Changes made to one dashboard do not affect the other unless a configuration is imported, allowing two independent layouts to be created for different displays, devices, resolutions, or use cases. The number of available dashboards and features may depend on your subscription plan.

After selecting a dashboard, the sidebar provides access to its configuration areas. The Layouts section includes the Idle Screen, Screens 1–4, and the Pit Screen, with each item opening the corresponding layout editor. Screen types and their behavior are explained in Screens & Layers.

The Setup section contains the Display page, where you can configure how the selected dashboard is rendered and controlled. These options are explained in Display Setup.

Each screen uses a modular widget layout, with widgets positioned and configured independently. The complete workflow is described in Widgets.

Plugin Settings

The settings button in the top-right corner opens the general plugin settings, which are separate from the configuration of Dashboard 1 and Dashboard 2. The Account section displays information related to the signed-in account and subscription. The System section contains plugin-wide settings and information. These settings apply to Next Plugin as a whole rather than to an individual dashboard.
