Getting Started
Account & Plans
Authentication, plans and license verification.
Next Dashboard uses a Next Sim Racing account to manage access, subscriptions, connected identities and licensed features.
You can access the same account using Discord, Steam or email, depending on the sign-in methods connected to it.
Signing In
You can sign in from the Next Sim Racing website or directly inside Next Plugin using one of the following methods:
Discord
Steam
Email verification code
Next Sim Racing does not require a separate password. When signing in with email, a one-time verification code is sent to the provided email address.
Signing in is required to:
Access the download area.
View your current subscription plan.
Activate the Next Dashboard features included in your plan.
Manage your account and connected sign-in methods.
Manage your subscription and billing information.
Creating and Accessing Your Account
The first time you sign in, a Next Sim Racing account is created or completed using the selected authentication method.
Depending on the selected provider:
Discord may provide a verified email address that can be associated with the account.
Steam does not provide an email address, so email verification may be required to complete the account.
Email sign-in uses a one-time verification code and does not require Discord or Steam.
After the account has been created, additional sign-in methods can be connected from the Account page.
You should always access the same Next Sim Racing account on the website and inside Next Plugin. Your subscription and licensed features are associated with the Next Sim Racing account, not with an individual Discord, Steam or email login method.
Connected Accounts
The Account page shows the sign-in methods currently connected to your account.
You can connect or disconnect supported providers, such as Discord and Steam. Connecting multiple methods allows you to access the same account using different providers without creating separate subscriptions or licenses.
A sign-in method may not be disconnected when doing so would leave the account without a valid way to sign in.
Available Plans
Next Dashboard is available through three plans:
Free: Includes the essential dashboard features, a limited selection of widgets and basic customization options.
Rookie: Unlocks additional widgets, layouts, video options and customization features.
Pro: Includes the complete Next Dashboard feature set, including advanced widgets, the full video library, custom media and extended customization options.
The exact features included in each plan are shown on the pricing page and may change as Next Dashboard is updated.
Next Plugin automatically determines which features are available based on the plan associated with your Next Sim Racing account.
Features included in your current plan can be selected and configured normally. Features belonging to a higher plan may remain visible for comparison or configuration purposes, but cannot be enabled until the required plan is active.
Upgrading your plan unlocks the related features without requiring a separate installation, except when an additional component must be downloaded.
Changing or Cancelling a Plan
Subscriptions can be managed from the Account page after signing in.
Select Manage Subscription to open the Stripe customer portal. From there, you can:
View your active subscription.
Change or upgrade your plan.
Review invoices and billing information.
Update your payment method.
Cancel your subscription.
After cancellation, paid features remain available until the end of the billing period that has already been paid.
When the subscription expires, the account automatically returns to the Free plan. Features that are not included in the Free plan become locked, but their existing configuration may be retained in case the paid plan is activated again.
Account Sessions
Website and plugin sessions are managed separately.
Signing out from the website ends the current website session. Signing out from Next Plugin ends the current plugin session.
Only one active Next Plugin session may be associated with an account at a time. Signing in from another plugin installation or device may replace the previously active plugin session.
Website sessions may remain active on more than one browser or device until they expire or are individually signed out.
Deleting Your Account
You can request account deletion from the Account page.
Deleting the account removes access to the associated Next Sim Racing account and connected sign-in methods. Active subscriptions should be cancelled before deleting the account.
Some billing, transaction or legal records may be retained where required by applicable law or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Using Next Dashboard Offline
Some account, plan and licence information may be temporarily retained by Next Plugin to avoid unnecessary interruptions.
However, an internet connection is periodically required to:
Verify the licence.
Refresh the plugin session.
Update the subscription status.
Download updates, videos and additional components.
Access online account and subscription management.
Plugin sessions expire after a period of inactivity and also have a maximum lifetime. When required, you will need to sign in again to renew the session.
If the licence or subscription status cannot be verified, some paid features may remain temporarily unavailable until the connection is restored. Existing local files and configuration data are not necessarily removed when a licence check fails.
