The v0.3 release is a major beta update for Next Sim Racing, introducing a fully redesigned interface, a stronger modular widget system, dynamic previews, and deeper dashboard customization.

This version moves the plugin closer to its final direction: faster layout editing, clearer settings, more widgets, and a smoother workflow across dashboards, screens, and subscription plans.

Interface & Layout

• The plugin interface has been rebuilt with a cleaner structure and improved navigation.

• Dashboard screens are now easier to manage across idle screen, racing screens, and pit screen.

• The modular widget system has been reworked to make placement, configuration, and editing more consistent.

• The new toolbar makes common actions faster, including layout copy, layout clearing, and Override preview access.

• Multiple dashboard profiles are now supported, allowing separate dashboard configurations inside the same plugin.

Idle Screen Customization

• The idle screen now supports deeper personalization.

• Driver number and name can be shown and customized.

• Solid color backgrounds are supported when no media is visible.

• Custom images or videos can be imported as idle screen backgrounds.

• A built-in video library has been added with selectable animated backgrounds.

Display Setup

• Dashboard resolution can now be configured directly from the plugin.

• Scale and grid alignment options have been added for better layout control.

• The number of active screens can be changed.

• Custom pit screen support has been added.

• Widget corners can be enabled or disabled per dashboard.
